JT Abernathy in front of his clay-mixing machine, which he designed and built.

It features a 20HP three-phase electric motor, and two sets of hydraulic cylinders,
one for raising and lowering the blade and another for sliding the clay hopper
from the mixing chamber over to the pug mill.
